I am currently watching this and not for the first time ( also v effzee) seen that there is a what appears to be  a Ban The Bomb symbol in the Centre circle.

Does it mean anything else?

Thank you for your reply,
This I know,  it was an English invention after all, why I was hoping to understand the reasoning behind it being on the pitch was to check it is being used as a " political " symbol.  One that would be denied by our backward F.A. ( who even complain if you cut the grass in too intricate a pattern) and surely one that would incur the wrath of FIFA.

I think the german teams are free for political messages if they are "common sense". We´ve seen this sign in nearly every stadium at the start of the Russian/Ukrainian war.
